Introducing the Toolbox
I am persuaded that gathering and praying together is the most powerful and important thing any church family can do. It deserves our very best efforts, resources and creativity.
There is something extraordinary about the cry of large number of God’s children, joined as one unified voice. I am convinced it moves God’s hand in ways that otherwise we would not see. Around the world we are seeing many worthy corporate prayer initiatives, the ENOUGH prayer format is part of something God is initiating more broadly.
Prayer is like sowing seed in good soil. Sure enough, fruit will come. Some results are instantly obvious, some will take time. I do believe that, because of our prayers, we will see an increase in the rate of people coming to know Christ and therefore the rate of church planting, church growth and influence for the gospel in our broken world will expand.
When I felt God speak to me from 2 Corinthians 1:11, about the ‘PRAYERS OF MANY’, the emphasis was on ‘MANY’. I am thrilled to say that churches around the world are now looking to run ENOUGH-style prayer initiatives. This is a very significant step as it means a culture of large-scale corporate prayer is developing across five continents covering Africa, Europe and North America, South America and Asia.
Thank you so much for the time and effort you are putting into running your prayer meetings.
As things grow it is important that we really remember what God has said to us regarding ENOUGH. With increase comes the need to stay focused on what is unique about it. So as you look to organise, promote and gather, remember ENOUGH is about...

EXTRAORDINARY PRAYER
It’s not part of the normal routine of regular prayer meetings in church life, it is something 'extra'.
VISIBLE UNION
Expressed through gathering together at the same time on the same date in different locations and in so doing expressing ‘prayers of many’.
EXPLICIT AGREEMENT
Keeping the same vital components across each setting so we are all praying for the same broad agenda.
The Toolbox
The Prayers of Many Toolbox is comprised of two sections:
Foundations - Biblical principles of corporate prayer
Toolbox - Practical tips for running an event
We recommend that you start with the foundations, as they explore scriptural principles that form the backbone of corporate prayer.
