ENOUGH 29th March 2019 - Now that the dust has settled….or has it?

Another ENOUGH prayer night has come and gone.  The ENOUGH team has been receiving reports from around the globe of how 1000’s of people gathered on Friday 29th March 2019 to meet with God, pray, spend family time together and to cry out to God to come and change our nations, for His glory!

On the night I often experience a surge of faith for what God is doing amongst us, but a few days later it’s easy to quickly forget or to allow the hugeness of our task to overwhelm us.  Reflecting on this I have been reminded of how God hears our cries and is constantly working in the background to bring about His purposes.

There’s the moving verse in Exodus 3 v 7-8, where God says, “I have surely seen the oppression of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians…”

David in Psalm 34 v 4, was able to say, “I sought the Lord, and He heard me. And delivered me from all my fears.”

In John 5 v 17, Jesus reminds us that God is always working to advance His kingdom…. “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

And Paul writes to the believers in Galatia…’let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.’  Galatians 6 v 9

ENOUGH on the 29th March was an amazing time.  From large congregations gathering in the UK and Kenya to smaller church plants meeting in people’s front rooms in Malaga and Sittingbourne – God was attentive to our prayers and is about a great work in our nations….let’s not lose heart…the night might be over but God is at work!

Wait on the Lord;  Be of good courage,

And He shall strengthen your heart;  Wait, I say, on the Lord!’

Psalm 27 v 14
