Being Jesus' hands and feet at this time of Crisis
On the 12th June 2020 at the next ENOUGH ‘For Such A Time As This 3’ we will be praying for our churches, that they will be the hands and feet of Jesus to those stuggling because of the Corona Virus.
One of the Locakdown Stories we will hear about come from Athen’s , Greece, were we will hear about the work of ‘Faros’.
Since 2014 ‘Faros’ (which means ‘Lighthouse’ in Greek), have been working to transform the lives of lost, lonely, homeless refugee children roaming the streets of Athens, Greece.
“The dream was to create a space where these children could be safe, discover their worth and find hope for the future.”
As well as running a drop-in centre, ‘Faros’ have started a number of programs including a shelter for unaccompanied children, a women’s centre and a vocational training centre.
They now regularly support about 100 unaccompanied children and youth every day in the different programs.
Join us on Friday 12th June to pray for Faro, but also to pray for your church, that together we might bring the hope of Jesus to many people.
