ENOUGH Global: Seeking God for a Vaccine

Over the past few ENOUGH events we have been persisting in prayer for a COVID-19 vaccine. At our next event on the 13th November we will again be asking God to provide an effective and safe vaccine that can help protect people from the virus.

But how do we know what to pray for? There is so much information and misinformation about the vaccine! This is why we have partnered with The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion. The Faraday Institute is a Cambridge-based interdisciplinary research institute improving public understanding of religious beliefs in relation to the sciences. They have helped us navigate the science and focus our prayers on the issues that really matter.

Dr Ruth Bancewicz, Church Engagement Director at The Faraday Institute, has produced an information sheet explaining the progress on the vaccine and guidance on what to pray for. This is included in the event handbook which is sent to you when you register.

In addition, Ruth has sent us an update on the recent BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine trial announcement explaining why the announcement was greeted by the scientific community with cautious optimism. There is still a long way to go and a lot to ask God for.

Join us on the 13th and pray with thousands of people from around the world for an effective and safe vaccine.

The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working - James 5:16b
